PRESS STATEMENT TO THE STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY AFRICA

Dear Student

The purpose of this communique is to inform you of a change in the ownership of University of Africa. The new owners of UoA are Prof Dr J Malan, and Prof DJ Du Plessis. Both are involved in the Zambian education environment for a span of more than 20 years. They are also shareholders at Africa Research University, a university registered with the HEA of Zambia.
UoA is a university with a long, rich and colourful history spanning more than ten years. The UoA alumni are found in all walks of life, not only in Zambia, but throughout the globe. They are found in the corridors of government, schools, corporates and in various circumstances where they serve the community.

This legacy will be continued, and we will constantly improve the service to our students to empower them to step up in their various environments where they live and work.

There is no doubt that the impact Covid-19 must still be determined, and our way of living, learning and serving will change for a long period of time, if not forever.

The fall-out of this virus is unknown, and therefore we will communicate to you, our students, how we will deal with examinations, graduations and residentials. Embracing new means of doing old things will evolve, the answer to which I do not know as yet.
Rest assured that we will continue to provide you with the best possible uninterrupted service available. Our staff are committed to provide you, our students, with friendly and excellent service.

We will regularly update our students with exam dates, venues and formats. We will shortly begin to arrange the graduation as scheduled, circumstances permitting. We will timeously communicate with you regarding dates and venues, in order to allow you to prepare, whether it is an examination, a graduation or a residential.

Our offices remain opened, and our staff are available on a daily basis to answer your queries, and wherever it becomes necessary, to meet you and solve your queries and provide you with a service.

Should you have any queries, you are invited to submit them to the following email address:

uoaletmeknow@gmail.com

Your enquiries will be answered as best as we can, and we will set up a universityofafrica email as soon as we can.

Yours Faithfully

Prof Dr J Malan
